Step Three of Creating The Life of Your Dreams.

We are created in God’s image. Scripture states that we will be able to perform miracles. I believe that we can create the life of our dreams. A great tool is using the practices of Feng Shui.  So fire up your imagination, dream those wonderful dreams and begin to create. The movie “the Secret” suggests that we can think – to create. Add to that action with intent,  our dreams become reality.

Thought :

  • You are a perfect child of the Universe.
  • The universe is a friendly place
  • Divinity is to give without reason, care beyond hope, love without limits
  • In spite of  your fears, stretch, reach and dream

Intention:

  • When I believe in myself, so do others
  • I express my needs and feelings
  • I am my own unique self – special, creative and wonderful

(You may want to post these intentions or create ones that fit you this moment. I place them on the bathroom mirror, the dashboard of the car, and/or the fridge)

Feng Shui Tip:

  • Hang a metal wind chime somewhere in the center of your home, bedroom or office. This is a key location to assess and adjust when looking to support your inner personal, emotional, physical and mental strength.
  • Take time today to clear out any old, no longer used cosmetics, lotions, shampoos and Colognes .
  • Wear the stone of Opal. Opal is considered a karmic stone. It is said to enhance your self esteem, self worth and confidence.

Step Two of Creating the Life of Your Dreams

This is step two, in the process.

When we hang on to the stuff because we may need it some day, we  stop the flow of the energy that brings in new and more beneficial blessings. So, if you are serious about improving your life, start to de-clutter. In Feng Shui, it is important to clear out anything you are done with.  If you find it incredibly hard to let go, start in an area where you feel safe to let go. I suggest starting out with junk drawers, cosmetics, and out of date vitamins. I also suggest tossing out shoes because they symbolize walking into a better fitting life.  The junk drawer is an easy place to start. Items to toss out can be 9 bread ties, or 9 plastic grocery bags. Make this process fun, laugh out loud at your junk.

This year is the year of the Yang Metal Tiger. What this means to us is; that this year promises to be very strong, busy, and full of events. This is the year for the grand schemes of the courageous. Just as the tiger leaps, we will see sudden leaps in conflicts and crises. However if our home/office energy is balanced, we will know what to do to restore balance in our lives.  The year promises to reward the brave and correct the cowardly. This is the year to check that all your business dealings are for the highest good of all concerned. There will also be repercussions for any underhanded activities and we will see more companies going out of business due to their business practices.

Thought :

  • Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
  • What other people think of you is none of your business.
  • The best is yet to come.

Intention:

  • Life is filled with delightful surprises
  • My life is joy filled. I choose to see joy, love, laughter and friendship.
  • I choose to stop all criticism so that I can forgive, relax and be open.
  • I  open my heart and allow wonderful things to flow into my life.

(You may want to post these intentions or create ones that fit you this moment. I place them on the bathroom mirror, the dashboard of the car, and/or the fridge)

Feng Shui Tip:

  • De-clutter: Toss out 9 items in you junk drawer.  If you are on a roll, go for 27.
  • In a clear bowl with water place three tealight candles, let burn completely, (Apx. 3 hrs ) and then toss the water outside.
  • Put five shiny pennies under the outside door mat. As you and guests walk in they will be bring new wealth to the household or business.

Step One to Creating the Life of Your Dreams

Choosing to create an exceptional year takes intent and action. So, I will suggest thoughts for the day, intentions, and a few Feng Shui tips. Follow the steps 0ne through twenty seven.

One of the universal laws is the law of attraction.” Like attracts like”. Just by your thoughts, you are attracting everything now present in your life. Would you like to improve your life? Improve your thoughts and set your intentions using Feng Shui practices.

Thoughts:

  • “It takes courage to push yourself to places that you have never been before…to test your limits…to break through barriers.” Choose to have an awesome year.
  • Begin with imagining your best year, what would that look like? List three things you want to create this year.
  • For example, more sources of income, healthy living, and profound relationships.

Intention:

  • My life is ever expanding and improving.
  • I am open and receptive to all good.
  • Just because I am, beauty, joy and abundance is mine for the asking

Feng Shui Tip:

Put your creation list under a lamp by the front door, or in your bedroom, or in the back left of your home or office. (Prosperity area) Leave the lamp on for 9 days, to heat up your intentions. Each time you see the lamp, you will remember to say yes to your  intentions.

The day before the Chinese New Year 2/12/2010

This is day twenty-seven in the process.

The magic of Feng Shui is in the intention. Our personal energy is in constant interaction with the energy of everything around us. It has been found that the boundaries between our personal quantum fields and the quantum fields of everything around us are not as defined as was once believed. In western culture, we have been programmed to limit our experience  to what is obvious to our senses. Many other cultures believe we are in everything and  everything is in us. This concept is supported by 20th century discoveries in the science  of physics.

I have studied three schools of Feng Shui. The Land (Form School), Compass School and the BTB ( the black hat sect Tantric Tibetan Buddhist School). Each have different methodology in teaching.  However, for all practical uses for the average Florida home/business owner, I shared tips from the western version of Feng Shui. To expand your knowledge, check out the many wonderful web sites and books on Feng Shiu, I Ching, and Feng Shui and your clutter.

I hope you and your family benefited from the information given here. My intent is that your well-being is expanded and is expanding with Feng Shui. I appreciate the opportunity to share my Feng Shui passion with you. I look forward to meeting you in person, in a workshop or on line. I will be giving workshops and I have openings for appointments if  you want help to manifest and enhance more quickly. (See below for rates) Remember to make it fun, and take delight as you see the results happen. » Continue reading “The day before the Chinese New Year 2/12/2010″

3 days before the Chinese New Year 2/11/2010

This is day twenty-five in the process.

The bed and stove are considered to be powerful activators.  Intentions made over the stove will be fired up and intentions made just before you go to sleep can be manifested in dreams and through the open channel to our source as we sleep.  Bedrooms are considered power spots.  Since we spend about one third of our life in the bedroom, our thoughts and feelings at the end of the day are important to our well-being.  With Feng Shui, the alignment of the bed is also very important.

The first best position for the bed is the farthest point away from the door, with the foot of the bed pointed out.  Avoid direct alignment with the door.  If the bed is in direct alignment with the door, a good cure is to place a trunk, bed bench, or keep the door closed when sleeping.  The second position is the direction favored by your “kua” number.  Your bed or desk chair positioned facing your best direction.  Each of us has a “kua” number for our personal best direction, depending on the year we were born.  I found a web site that calculates your number and best direction, free of charge. www.geomancy.net  I am a number 4, my best direction is West, then S W.  My worst direction is SE and S. Therefore, if I have a choice I will choose the bedroom in the W.  Since my bedroom now, is located in my third best direction, NE, I have some elements and colors to support my position.  I use metal lamps on either side of the bed to support my energy.  This is something fun for you to find out.  Do not spend much time concerning yourself with this, unless you have huge issues and need a cure.  .  (If this is important enough, please contact me for a consultation over the phone, on the internet, of in person).  Sometimes moving the bed to a different direction will be enough.  I use several cures that are activated in the bedroom.  Placing a clay bowel with water, and coins under the bed, with your intentions, and by changing the water every night for 9 or 27 days will start to move your intentions forward.  Remember, “Thoughts become things, make them good ones”.   » Continue reading “3 days before the Chinese New Year 2/11/2010″

4 days before the Chinese New Year 2/10/10

This is day twenty-four in the process.

Today we will talk about Kitchens.  Think about how you would like to feel in your kitchen. Today’s most popular appliances are stainless. They are so beautiful. However the harder and shiner the appliances and flooring are the faster and more yang the Chi’ will be. Synthetic materials do the same. When you cook, the preparation of the food will absorb some of the energy. If your life is chaotic, I suggest that you soften the effect with natural yin materials. If you are suffering with high blood pressure or with indigestion, I suggest that you slow down when you cook or eat. Most of us have a rushed eating habit. If you are eating at the table with no distractions, 7 days a week, good for you. If not, start by eating dinner at the table at least once a week. Studies have shown that children who eat at the dinner table most every night have a calmer sense of well being and security. They feel loved. One of the best ways to show love and a way to nurture our teenagers is to eat together. This time of communication should be free of criticism of anything, anyone, and all are allowed to say what they wish as long as it is positive. Please realize what you talk about over your food as you are eating it, will affect your food’s quality. » Continue reading “4 days before the Chinese New Year 2/10/10″

5 days before the Chinese New Year 2/9/10

This is day twenty-thee in the process.

The living room is often the center of activities. This is the place where families will spend time together, and a place to entertain. The optimal energy in the living/family room is yang energy. Some Florida home owners use the family room more than the living room. Ideally, the flow of Chi’ in a home/office will allow every room to be used. If the living room is not being used, the problem may be the imbalance of energy. If the family seems to get stuck there, inactive, or become couch potato’s, the problem may be energy that is too yin. Bright colors may be used in fabrics and throw pillows to raise the yang energy. To have a room feel open, clear and clean use items from the yang list. If you want your living room to feel soft and cozy use items from the yin list below.

6 days before Chinese New Year 2/8/10

This is day twenty-two in the process.

Six days before the eve of Chinese News Year.

The ancient Eastern Art of Feng Shui can dramatically improve your health, happiness, and personal prosperity by improving positive energy in the home, office, and garden.  When we use Feng Shui principals, we awaken our senses and sensibilities to our environment.

One important area to lift energy is to improve the front entranceway.  This is the mouth of Chi’. It is very important to keep this area clear, clean, and well maintained.  What is your environment saying to you?  Do you look forward to coming home after work?  Do you enjoy being in your work environment? » Continue reading “6 days before Chinese New Year 2/8/10″
